I am reading a book by Bob Spitz, The Beatles - the biography.
Very detailed biography about The Beatles.
At a given moment the writer mentions a London promotor, called Larry Parnes, who promoted loads of famous acts in the early sixties. One of the helpers of this Mr Parnes is someone called Hal Carter (a few quotes by Hal Carter are in this book too).
Does anyone know whether this Hal Carter is the Hal Carter of The Hal Carter Organisation, who was also the agent for Mud & was a friend of Les's?
