Hi all, Here's a video on youtube of Mud doing Tiger Feet at the Dominion Theatre in Tottenham Court Road circa 1985. This is during the time I was their sound engineer. This was the "Heroes and Villians" charity concert organised by Dave Dee to raise money for music therapy for disabled children. You can also find Oh Boy there too. 23 acts on the bill, a good day for star spotting!

The line up was Les (of course!)
Cherie Beck - backing vocals.
Stuart Amesbury - rythym guitar.
Tim Fish - lead guitar.
Dale Fry - bass.
Mark Hatwood - drums.

A memory of that gig...
None of the bands were paid but as a gesture Dave Dee provided a free bar for all the bands and crew during the interval (there was an afternoon and evening performance.) When word got around we all headed for the bar lead by Ronnie Bond, drummer of The Troggs and someone you would describe as a "professional drinker". Those London theatres are a maze when you walk around underneath them but that was the way that Ronnie decided would be the best route to the bar to avoid the punters. We all of course put our trust in Ronnie because if he couldn't find the bar no one could! Now, if you know the scene in Spinal Tap when the band can't find the stage, here was a similar situation. We walked through dark, dank tunnels for about half an hour all the while Ronnie is saying, "not far now lads, I can smell it!" Well we eventually got to the bar, some of us thought we got there via Putney, and set about some serious musician's bonding. Shortly, quite a number of the gathered ensemble were as "bonded" as newts...
I bumped into Dave Dee in Holland about a year later and asked how the charity was going. He said he was hoping to make the money from video sales as most of the box office profit on the day was spent on the band's bar tab....
Ronnie's professional drinking got the better of him in the end, like so many others and he died in 1992.
